Shane graduated with his Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge in 2003. From that time he embarked on his career in accounting and received the designation of Chartered Accountant in 2009. Shane has been a tax specialist in Canadian Income Tax since 2010 and furthered his knowledge of tax with the In-depth tax program in 2013.
Shane’s focus on tax has led him to assist many individuals and businesses with tax planning, protection of wealth generation, estate, and succession planning.
Shane’s community involvement includes sitting as the past treasurer of the Kamloops Mental Health Association, Kamloops Branch and he is currently treasurer of the Kamloops Central Interior Business Improvement Association.
In his spare time, Shane enjoys spending time with his two daughters, hiking the local Kamloops trails, watching martial arts and jiu-jitsu as a past competitor, and relaxing to play lists of music while walking his family’s energetic dog.
